Cataracts

A cataract is a cloudy area in the lens of the eye that can cause a decrease in vision. The lens naturally changes as we age and this often causes difficulty seeing at night, blurry vision and halos around lights. Sometimes, even a change in glasses or contact lenses helps with these symptoms, but as they progress, surgical intervention may be necessary. This is a very common procedure and often leaves patients without the need for glasses, or a decreased need for glasses after the surgery. Schedule your exam for your cataract evaluation today!
